BRIEF

Gothenburg Municipality is looking for new innovative ways to improve urban sustainability, for a better, greener future, with focus on re-usability and changing the behaviour of the people for the better. I was free to interpret the solution in anyway I wanted to, so I decided to design something that I mysef would use – a carpool-app called RideShare.

SOLUTION

Picture this: It's a nice, warm summer day and you decide to take a spontanious road trip to the beach. Of course you decide to take the car, because who wants to go on a tightly packed sweaty tram in the middle of the summer? But as you get to the garage in your appartment complex, you stand there and realize, "Oh, shoot! That's right, I don't own a car".

But fret not! In front of you, you see a fleet of cars that you can rent through an app. You just slide to unlock the car and you're good to go. And did I mention the cars are electric? The cars are electric.

With this solution, you no longer need to waste resources on owning a car that you rarely use. This means that less people in the city need to buy cars, and also encurages people to drive electric whenever they do need to drive. This results in a cleaner and more sustainable future for the city.

TL;DR

It's Voi on four wheels.
